How to merge PDF files
Merge PDF files online for free and combine several PDFs into one document in the order you choose. OrbitexPDF joins the pages exactly as they are - same page size, same fonts, text still selectable - with nothing re-rendered and no loss of quality. Drag the files into order, merge up to 5 PDFs on the free plan or up to 20 with Pro, and download a single combined PDF. No account and no watermark.
Select the PDFs to combine
Click Select PDF files or drop them onto the page. You can add more at any time before merging.
Put them in order
Drag the cards to change the order, use the arrows on a card, or sort them A to Z by name. The merged PDF follows the order you see.
Merge PDF
Press Merge PDF and name the output file if you like. The pages are copied into one document.
Download one PDF
Save the combined PDF. Every uploaded file is deleted once your download is done.
Why combine PDF files with OrbitexPDF
Combine multiple PDFs into one without quality loss
Merging copies pages rather than printing them again, so scans keep their resolution and text stays searchable and selectable.
Join PDFs in exactly the order you need
Reports with appendices, contracts with signed pages, invoices for a month - arrange them once and get one PDF back.
Mixed page sizes are kept
An A4 scan inside a Letter document stays its own size. Nothing is stretched or cropped to fit.
Free PDF merger, no sign-up
Merge PDF online free with no account and no watermark. Pro raises the limit to 20 files and 250 MB a file.
Frequently asked questions
How do I combine PDF files into one?
Select all the PDFs, drag them into the order you want, and press Merge PDF. You get a single PDF that contains every page of every file in that order.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
Up to 5 files in one task on the free plan, each up to 20 MB. Pro merges up to 20 files, each up to 250 MB.
Does merging PDFs reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied into the new document exactly as they were, so images, fonts and text are unchanged. If the result is too large to send, run it through Compress PDF afterwards.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Not while it is locked. Open it with its password and save an unprotected copy first, then merge that copy.
Can I insert pages into the middle of a PDF?
Yes: split the original at the point where the pages should go with Split PDF, then merge the parts back together with the new pages in between.
