How to convert PowerPoint to PDF

Convert PowerPoint to PDF online for free and turn PPT, PPTX and ODP presentations into PDFs that open anywhere. OrbitexPDF saves one slide per page with your fonts, images and charts in place, and can add your speaker notes as pages of their own, so a deck can be shared, printed or handed out without PowerPoint. Convert several decks at once and merge them into one PDF if you like. No account and no watermark.

  1. Select your presentations

Click Select PowerPoint files or drop PPT, PPTX or ODP files anywhere on the page.

  2. Choose what to include

Turn on Add speaker notes to get each slide's notes as a page. More options lets you include hidden slides or convert only some slides.

  3. Convert

Press PowerPoint to PDF. Each slide becomes one PDF page.

  4. Download and share

Save the PDF, or a ZIP when there are several, and send it instead of the deck - it opens on any device and prints as slides.

Why convert PPTX to PDF with OrbitexPDF

One slide per page

The PDF follows the deck slide for slide, ready to read on a phone or print as handouts.

Fonts and layout kept

Fonts are embedded and positions fixed, so the deck looks the same on a computer that does not have your fonts.

Speaker notes when you want them

Add the notes as pages for a handout or a rehearsal copy, or leave them out for the audience.

Free PowerPoint to PDF converter

Convert PowerPoint to PDF free with no account: two files at a time and three Office conversions a day on the free plan. Pro takes twenty files, with no daily limit.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a PowerPoint to PDF?

Select the PPT, PPTX or ODP files, press PowerPoint to PDF and download the PDF. Each slide becomes one page.

Are animations and speaker notes kept?

Animations and transitions are not, since a PDF is a set of static pages. Speaker notes are left out unless you turn on Add speaker notes, which puts each slide's notes on a page of their own.

Why does a font look different?

If the deck uses a font that is not embedded in the file, a substitute is used. Embed fonts when saving in PowerPoint, or choose common fonts, for an exact match.

My PDF is too large to email. What now?

Run it through Compress PDF - decks with photos usually shrink a lot at the Balanced level. On Pro you can also pick a smaller picture quality under More options before converting.

Is PowerPoint to PDF free?

Yes - three Office conversions a day on the free plan, with files up to 20 MB. Pro removes the daily limit and adds PDF/A for archiving and a choice of picture quality.
